Bridger is an energetic and playful dog who still has the personality of a youngster. True to his breed, he enjoys fetching the ball, swimming in the river and long walks (or runs!). Bridger is a bit unsure of new people, but once he is introduced to you he is very loyal and loving. He will do fine in a house with children of any age, but needs to be the only pet in the house. He is hit-or-miss with other dogs and can be aggressive with them at times, so no dog parks for Bridger! He also has a strong prey drive and should not live with cats. We don't know how he would do with livestock or chickens. He does know his basic commands and is housebroken. Ideally his forever home would be somewhere he could participate in the family activities, as he is a very social dog who needs to feel included in what's going on around him to be happy.
